About the Founders
Mattress Clearance USA was founded by Trevor, who opened a mattress and furniture store in Pensacola, FL in 2012 with his wife Tamara. For nearly a decade, the store helped thousands of families across the Florida panhandle find quality mattresses at honest prices — no gimmick sales, no inflated markups, just good products at fair prices.
When COVID hit, it hit hard. After fighting through shutdowns, supply chain chaos, and a customer base that could not shop the way they used to, the store closed its doors in 2022. But ten years of selling mattresses — learning what holds up, what falls apart, what is actually worth the money, and what is just marketing — does not disappear.
Mattress Clearance USA moved online to put that experience to work for a bigger audience. Trevor leads the deal research and price tracking; Tamara contributes editorial review on women-focused needs through our sister site, MattressQueens. Every review on this site comes from people who have spent a decade watching customers test mattresses, hearing what they loved six months later, and seeing what ended up returned. That is something no algorithm can replicate.
