About the Founders
Mattress Clearance USA was founded by Trevor, who opened a mattress and furniture store in the Florida Panhandle in 2011 with his wife Tamara. For 13 years, the store helped thousands of families across the Florida panhandle find quality mattresses at honest prices — no gimmick sales, no inflated markups, just good products at fair prices.
When COVID hit, it hit hard. After fighting through shutdowns, supply chain chaos, and a customer base that could not shop the way they used to, the brick-and-mortar chapter eventually ended. But 13 years of owning a mattress and furniture store — learning what holds up, what falls apart, what is actually worth the money, and what is just marketing — does not disappear.
Mattress Clearance USA moved online to put that experience to work for a bigger audience. Trevor leads the deal research and price tracking; Tamara contributes editorial review on women-focused needs through our sister site, MattressQueens. Every review on this site comes from people who have spent a decade watching customers test mattresses, hearing what they loved six months later, and seeing what ended up returned. That is something no algorithm can replicate.
